Google Adwords “Insanity”
It seems that Google really loves to test new “Ads by Google” images, visited 4 sites today (2 was mine), and everywhere noticed different style. However, first it was not so public and used to show very rarely, but not now. So good luck Google.
Happy Easter

ICANN Registerfly Fact Sheet
Can be downloaded here
An ownership dispute, coupled with a history of poor service, at RegisterFly (a registrar), has meant that its customers have had tremendous difficulty managing their domain names.
The company’s activities have affected many of its estimated 100,000 (or more) customers and among other things resulted in the reported loss of hundreds, possibly thousands, of domains.
The organisation charged with ensuring the stability and security of the domain name system, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), attempted to get the registrar to address the problems.
After many months of discussion with RegisterFly and following the processes under the Registrar Accreditation Agreement, ICANN announced it was terminating the registrar’s accreditation.
The situation has highlighted several issues within the registrar system, and ICANN’s president has called on the community to reform the Registrar Accreditation Agreement and wider registrar policy.

Yahoo! UK Panama Migration Already Started
Yahoo! UK Panama ad platform migration already started.
It should be available to advertisers by the beginning of May, but my instinct says that advertisers will likely see it sooner than that, in mid to late April.
Yahoo Widgets 4
It’s Here!
That’s what they say in their web page. They’ve added nice features, reduced memory consumption by 40% and so on.
As you can see there’s a lot to take in with this release of Yahoo! Widgets. The best way to find out what’s new and exciting is to just go and download it. So, have at it!
Were We Down?
Yes. Somehow our (now previous) Data Center changed our server ip without re-configing everything, so decided that I don’t need such a provider anymore. Moved my sites to other server.
Termination of RegisterFly.com Registrar
ICANN today issued a formal notice of termination of RegisterFly.com’s Registration Accreditation Agreement (RAA).
ICANN has issued a letter to RegisterFly [PDF, 902K] indicating that it will cease operating as an ICANN-Accredited Registrar on March 31, 2007. Under the terms of the Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA), ICANN must provide 15 days written notice to RegisterFly of its intention to terminate.
Effective immediately ICANN has terminated RegisterFly’s right to use the ICANN Accredited Registrar logo on its website.
Between now and 31 March RegisterFly is required to unlock and provide all necessary Authinfo codes to allow domain name transfers to occur. Any and all registrants wishing to transfer away from RegisterFly during this period should be allowed to do so efficiently and expeditiously.
“Terminating accreditation is the strongest measure ICANN is able to take against RegisterFly under its powers,” Dr. Paul Twomey, President and CEO of ICANN said today.
“ICANN has been frustrated and distressed by recent management confusion inside RegisterFly,” Dr. Twomey, President said. “I completely understand the greater frustration and enormous difficulty that this has created for registrants.”
When the Agreement is terminated, ICANN can approve a bulk transfer of all current RegisterFly domain names to another ICANN accredited Registrar.
“Of course, RegisterFly does not have to wait till then. They can request ICANN to approve a bulk transfer immediately. I call on RegisterFly to act in the interests of registrants and seek such a transfer from us straight away,” Dr. Twomey said.
ICANN intends to hold a forum to discuss the reform of the Accreditation policy and process at its Lisbon meeting in a week’s time*.
A set of questions and points to inform the discussion will be made public prior to the Lisbon meeting.
