Wikipedia - Don’t Pass PageRank Anymore
January 23rd, 2007
Wikipedia replaced all links with nofollow, that means you won’t get any boost for you pagerank if you have link in wikipedia.
This might slow down spammers a bit, but won’t stop for sure. It’s a great move from wikipedia side. It’s still good to have link in wikipedia which gives you some free traffic.
WikiSeek.com - Wikipedia Search Engine
January 19th, 2007
Althought this is NOT Wikipedia product but there are many comments about it. I’ve tried it too and if it would be possible to describe WikiSeek using one word, it would be ”ugly”. Too much sponsor links, no user friendly at all and so on. It is only a BETA but won’t ever use it again. If you want to search Wikipedia, search via Wikipedia or Google, this is the best way I guess.
