RegisterFly.com - Domains HiJacked
3 domains just got hijacked, PR5 site with around 50 000 visitors monthly, other PR5 and PR4…
Fuck RegisterFly.com if I won’t get my domains back.
Yahoo! Laughs from Google. Why?
Maybe they want to be on the news again? I don’t know, still confused after reading Yahoo rubbishes Google usability.
“Google definitely is lacking in usability,” Bonforte said in a meeting with reporters at Yahoo’s corporate headquarters.
“And it happens over and over and over again. In every application, we are number one or two.”
Bonforte joined Yahoo 18 months ago and heads up the company’s messenger product. He turned down a position at Google at the time, he said, because the company is ruled by engineers and refuses to pay attention to usability.
Yes, same guy. If you don’t remember I will help you. He was trying to hijack settings and change default search engine to Yahoo!
Will Google Loose Advertisers?
I was talking about Yahoo Panama success last time, as you know or not Google made some changes in their AdWords quality score algorithm. It seems that advertisers don’t like it all all, “it’s a waste of money”, another advertiser notes:
Just got another round of QSing, raising minium bids on certain words yet again. This time from 50 cents to $1. Or in another words from barely profitable to wholely unprofitable.
There are tons of complains regarding this update, maybe it’s time to start using Yahoo? You decide.

Digg.com Ads Two New Categories
Digg.com has added two new categories in their web, First one is “Microsoft” and another one is “2008 US Elections”, I was expecting SEO category too. But… Maybe next time…
Nasa Gives More Information to Google Earth
It’s being reported that NASA gave more infgormation to Google Earth, they’ve added more data from Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) and other great stuff.
Yahoo Panama - Yahoo! Goes Faster Than Google
Just a while ago Yahoo! released new advertising model called “Panama” with a hope to complete with Google’s Ads again since they’ve earned almoust twice less than Google (Google - $10.61 billion in sales last year, Yahoo- $5.53 billion) while they were displaying ads based on bid, now they are matching bid and quality score which helps to get higher clicks ratio and better results for advertisers as well. With old system they were earning around 2.5-3¢ for every search, while Google earned 4.5-5¢ per search.
So it seems Yahoo! is catching Google since their click thru ratio increasing!
Week Ending 2/11/07 - 5% Increase
Week Ending 2/18/07 - 9% Increase
Also trying to offer something more than Google do, AJAX for example. It’s still long way to go but let’s wait.
Ads By Google - New Look
So it seems that Google testing something new again (and as I noticed it happens very often which is good). This time they are showing “G” logo right after “Ads By Goooooogle”:
![]()
Incongruous G. I don’t like it.
RegisterFly.com - Domain Registration and Renewal Problems
As I mentioned last time they had problems with nameservers editing, it’s fixed now. However, today tried to register a new domain name with RegisterFly.com, so they charged money and guess, was domain really registered? Of course… Not. I don’t know what’s going on with them and I won’t care anymore after I transfer all my domains somewhere else.
Another guy reported that he was charged for domain renewal, got RegisterFly.com confirmation that it was renewed, but sadly… Whois still shows old data, even in RegisterFly account it shows new one… Oh well…
